When Kayla was 13 her mother started to learning how to skydive, and to pack parachutes for a living, alongside being a Veterinary Technician! This propelled Kayla forward into a world of adrenaline, airplanes, and excitement. It wasn't long, before Kayla was in her first plane crash (at the age of 17), then two short days later she began working at a skydiving facility editing videos, where she would remain employed for 3 years as a professional videographer, video editor, and skydiving coach.
Kayla first flew co-pilot at the age of 17 and made her first skydive at the age of 18.
After her first skydive, she fell in love with the sport- she got her Coach's Rating with the United States Parachute Association, shortly after and began coaching others to skydive. Body awareness, balance, meditation, and the connection to pranayama (breathing techniques/the breath) all helped Kayla excel in the sport/career of Skydiving.
